Posh Pooch Stylists

Posh Pooch has a team of dedicated, passionate and professional members. Each member of our staff brings years of personal and professional knowledge to ensure that you and your pet receive the ultimate spa and boutique experience. Our love of pets leads us to be both caring and nurturing to every pet that visits our salon. We love what we do and take pride in the results, and we hope our efforts leave you satisfied as well.

Julie Erling - Owner

If you love what you do, then you will never have to work a day in your life. I have been in the pet industry for 12 years now, after having been a cosmetologist for 10 years. Pets are people too, so while creating Posh Pooch my goal was to provide customers with high quality grooming services with a French influenced ambiance. This same theme inspired the boutique, filled with high-end dog apparel, collars, beds, toys, treats, and food. I have always believed in quality customer service and being able to ensure that each customer and their pet leaves our salon happy and feeling valued.

In my eyes grooming requires a certain artistic talent and patience. All of my stylists are highly qualified, creative and passionate about what they do. We strive to provide the best experience for both people and their pets.

Vanessa Erling - Sales Manager / Buyer

I have been working for my mother since 2007, never imagining that I would ever learn so much about pet apparel, food, and treats. I work in the boutique providing our customers with a wide variety of unique and high quality pet products ranging from health conscious treats and premium food, to Swarovski Crystal collars and tutus. I love what I do and I love sharing it with the people that come in to visit our shop.

KT – Lead Groomer

I have been grooming since 1997 and I have been working with Julie since October of 2000. I have attended a Super Styling Session, as well as MPPGA to ensure that I continue my education in grooming, and keep up to date with industry changes. I have also competed in numerous grooming competitions where I have received two 1st place awards. I am currently working on my master groomer certification, and plan to compete more in the future.

Ellen – Groomer / Assistant Manager

I have been working in the field of dog grooming since 2001. I specialize in “bath” dogs, that is, dogs that have short hair or flat coats that don’t require standard haircuts.

Angela Vanasse – Groomer/Sales Manager

I am currently apprenticing under my mother, Julie here at Posh Pooch. Being new to grooming has allowed me to pick up the latest skills and techniques involved in pet styling. I am currently working towards being highly skilled in all breeds, and learning aspects of both the salon and boutique.

Megan – Groomer

I have been grooming since 2002 and currently grooming competitively.  I am working at getting my Master Certification and continue to educate myself with styling sessions and seminars.  I enjoying hand-stripping and scissoring, but most of all...I want to make your dog look and feel their best.

Jordan – Groomer

I have been grooming since 2006, after attending grooming school training under a CMG (certified master groomer). I have been working for Posh Pooch since 2009. I am a member of the ISCC (International Society of Canine Cosmetology) and I am working to become a master in pet styling and skin dermatology. I am deeply involved with the latest techniques, styles, and show clips in the industry, and regularly attend grooming seminars, competitions, and dog shows. I am very skilled in hand scissoring, hand stripping, and am very knowledgeable on all breeds.

Tara – Groomer

I have been grooming with Posh Pooch since November of 2009. I graduated from grooming school in 2007, and I continually strive to learn something new everyday. I love to hand scissor, and my specialty is the puppy cut.

Jessica - Groomer

I have been in the grooming industry since mid 2009 and have been grooming here at Posh Pooch since May 2011.  I am a member of the NDGAA (National Dog Groomers Association of America) and plan to become an NCMG (National Certified Master Groomer) through them.  I have always known I wanted to work with animals and almost became a vet tech, but ended up working in a grooming shop and never looked back.  I love what I do and I love learning anything I can about dogs and their specific haircuts.  So far, my favorite cut to do is the Schnauzer pattern.

Trisha – Sales

I have been working for my aunt in the boutique since 2008. Since beginning work at Posh Pooch I have gained an extensive knowledge in all things dog related. One of my most valued lessons has been learning the importance of providing quality customer service to all our clients.
